Risk Control

Risk Control is comprised of the actions taken by management, in the most cost effective manner, to minimize the losses that are currently impacting or have the potential to impact the organization. There are two basic theories; the human approach, which states that people cause accidents and the engineering approach, which states that energy and things cause accidents. There are six basic techniques of risk control; Avoidance, Prevention, Reduction, Segregation, Combination, and Transfer.
